What is the difference between a condominium and a co-op?
A condominium and co-op are similar, in that they are both community living arrangements. But a condominium you own from the walls in, and on a cooperative you own shares of stock in the entire building. So the right to live in a co-op is based on a lease, whereas the right to live in a condominium is based on the fact that you actually own inside of those four walls.
