My close relative seems to be losing it and doing crazy things. What can I do?

When a close relative is acting irregularly or doing things out of character, depending on the severity of their conduct, you may want to engage the services of adult protective services if they’re at risk of doing harm to themselves or others. The other option that you might have, if they haven’t done estate planning, is fire for guardianship. The guardianship is where the court appoints you to take care of your relative, make financial decisions for them, sometimes health decisions for them as well. But that’s a very complicated process and that shouldn’t be done without consulting with and attorney first.
